I thought I’d take a moment to recap a few adventures I’ve had overseas.
In June 2012 I was flown to northern Spain to create videos of classical guitar concerts given in cathedrals along a thousand-year-old pilgrimage route.
Along the way I met lots of interesting characters, including several who appear on my website.
This opportunity came along because of Peter Blanchette, who’s music and orchestra feature prominently on my website, and who first introduced me to this nascent Camino program in Spain.
There I met guitarist Frank Wallace and artist Karin Luciano, both of whom are on my site, I recommend taking a look at their work and stories.
It’s always refreshing to be creative: less marketing and more freedom to capture events, moments, or performances as they happen without crafting a strategic agenda beforehand.
It’s just plain fun. You’ll see a number of Parallax adventures from that summer on my website, peruse and enjoy!
